Peskov says no decisions on anti-coronavirus restrictions made yet
MOSCOW, Sep 23 (PRIME) -- The government or the presidential administration have yet made no new restriction or lockdown decisions linked to a rise of the number of coronavirus-infected people, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Thursday.
“At least at the federal level, and at the level of the presidential administration, there are no discussions (on new restrictions or lockdowns). Of course, the government emergency center watches the situation closely, but the situation is mainly controlled by heads of the regions. Special epidemiological competence continues to exist, and each region has its own view,” he said.
Peskov also said that as far as he knows no such decisions have been made by anyone despite rising figures of infected people.
